Legal notice
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This page tells you who is behind cimalor.com and under what conditions you can use the website.
1. Who runs this website
"Cimalor" is the name of a project that publishes open-source modules for Odoo. It is a trade name, not a legal entity. The person responsible for this website is:
- Name: Bruno Gutiérrez Simón
- Contact: bruno@cimalor.com
- Domain: cimalor.com
The holder is established in Spain, so Spanish and European Union law applies to this website.
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. See the Privacy policy for how the hosting handles technical data.
2. Purpose of the website
cimalor.com presents the Odoo modules published by the Cimalor project, currently Team To-Do. It is an information website. Nothing is sold here: there are no payments, no user accounts and no registration.
The software itself is not distributed from this website. It is distributed through the Odoo Apps Store, and its source code is published on GitHub (see section 5).
3. Conditions of use
By browsing this website you agree to use it lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you agree not to:
- try to damage, overload or gain unauthorized access to the website or its hosting;
- use the content to break the law or the rights of other people;
- present the content as yours, outside what the licenses below allow.
4. Intellectual property
The website
The texts, design and the Cimalor name on this website are © Bruno Gutiérrez Simón. All rights reserved. You may share links to the site and quote short excerpts with attribution, but you may not copy it as a whole without permission. The screenshots show the Team To-Do software, which is released under the license described below.
The software
The Odoo modules published by Cimalor, including Team To-Do (cimalor_team_todo), are free software released under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 3 (LGPL-3). The license, not this notice, sets out what you may do with the code: use it, study it, modify it and redistribute it under the license terms. The full text is at gnu.org/licenses/lgpl-3.0.
Trademarks
"Odoo" is a trademark of Odoo S.A. Cimalor uses the name only to describe compatibility (for example, "for Odoo 18 and 19"). Cimalor is an independent project and has no official relationship with, and is not endorsed by, Odoo S.A. or any of its affiliates. The Odoo logo is not used on this website.
5. Links to third parties
This website links to services run by other parties, such as GitHub (source code) and the Odoo Apps Store (distribution). These links are provided for convenience. Cimalor does not control those services, is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave this site. The website itself does not load any resource from third-party servers.
We try to keep external links accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every one of them works at all times.
6. Support, warranty and liability
Software. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as set out in the LGPL-3 (sections 15 and 16 of the GNU General Public License, which the LGPL-3 incorporates). You use it at your own risk. Please test any module in a non-production environment before installing it on a system you depend on.
Support. If you write to support@cimalor.com, we aim to reply within 48 to 72 business hours. This is a reply time only. It is a good-faith, best-effort commitment given by a small team for free software: it applies to emails sent to that address (requests made on GitHub are handled on a best-effort basis, with no reply time), it is not a service level agreement, and it does not oblige Cimalor to fix a problem, add a feature, or provide a solution within any period. The software remains subject to the warranty disclaimer above.
Website. The information on this website is general and may contain errors or become out of date. We do not guarantee that the website will be available without interruption or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, the holder is not liable for damages arising from the use of the website or from the use of the software, except where the law does not allow that liability to be excluded (for example, in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, or the rights of consumers that cannot be waived).
7. Changes
We may update this notice, and the website, at any time. The date at the top shows the last update.
8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
This notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the Spanish courts will have jurisdiction, except where the law gives you the right to go to the courts of your own place of residence (for example, if you are a consumer).
9. Contact
For anything related to this notice, write to bruno@cimalor.com. For support questions about the modules, write to support@cimalor.com. For how we handle personal data, see the Privacy policy.
